In addition to our internal policies, Booth Ranches takes part in independent 3rd party audits and is certified under GlobalG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Version 5.1, a Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) recognized standard covering all farms and packing facilities.

The GlobalG.A.P. standard is designed to:

Reduce risk for producers by identifying and controlling food safety risks.
Help producers improve farm management, on-site efficiency and compliance with legislation.
Provide producers with a practical approach to address pressing concerns such as environmental sustainability, food safety, traceability and worker safety and welfare while incorporating Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) as well as integrated crop and pest management practices.
Cover the entire farming process from pre-farming inputs, farming activities, harvest, post-harvest and product handling.

Booth Ranches chose GlobalG.A.P. IFA V4.0 certification standard because of its shared commitment to food safety, traceability, worker, and environmental welfare which Booth Ranches has always believed to be the foundation for producing safe, high quality fresh citrus.

There are three levels to GlobalG.A.P. Farm Assurance. Booth Ranches is certified under the most rigorous, comprehensive ANSI Accredited GFSI recognized scheme offered: GlobalG.A.P. Integrated Farm Assurance considered to be the international gold standard in farm certification.
